Hey! Unfortunately we no longer own our VE Commodore project vehicle, so this won’t be possible.

    Good write up thanks.
I see you have a Growler intake.
    How does it go?

    1. Staff @ AutoInstruct

The growler is awesome! Nice loud induction noise.

Could you advise how to check and change transmission oil in lfx sv6 commodore series2 plz coz there is no dipstick…

Hey, We wish we could however we don’t have our VE Commodore anymore. Generally speaking you use the fill hole to see how full it is. It should be level with the hole (I.E You can’t fill it anymore otherwise it will leak out). There is a drain plug to empty the fluid.

Wow your how to videos are the BEST, so clear.
I just wish you had done one on the transmission oil and filter change, for my (2011) VE series 2, 3L sportswagon .
Sick of paying too much for services, and got all the tools, so at 190000km time to start to do it myself.
(Worked on the old vs for years)
Thanks for all your tips and videos.

Hi Cole, Thanks for the feedback. If we ever get our hands on a VE Commodore again, we’ll be sure to do it.

How do you go when you change bulbs with the growler on.
    Looks tight.
    Cheers peter.

      Hi Peter,
It does get in the way slightly, however takes 2-minutes to remove the growler. Very simple.
