Are you looking to upgrade the handling of your GC8 Subaru Impreza? Look no further than replacing the rear sway bar with a stronger, stiffer, aftermarket option! In this tutorial we’ll show you how to remove the rear sway bar, ready for the upgrade of your choice.
Locate the rear end links. If replacing the sway bar, undo bolt #1 on either side. If you’re also replacing the end links, undo bolt #1 and #2.

Remove the bolt from both sway bar mounts and swing the mount downwards. You can now remove the sway bar from the vehicle, and replace with your aftermarket product.
