Step 1

Jack up the rear of the car and place jackstands to support it before getting underneath.

Locate the 2 exhaust flanges that need to be unbolted. Using a socket set and ratcheting spanner loosen and remove the bolts holding the exhaust mid-pipe to the rear-muffler. Next move onto the mid-pipe to front-pipe flange, remove these bolts.

Step 2

Locate the rubber hangers supporting the rear muffler. Spray a liberal amount of WD-40 into the rubber hanger and press the metal bracket out of it, once the hanger are released the muffler will drop so be prepared to support it.

Step 3

To install the new aftermarket exhaust, ensure each section of the exhaust is separated and start with the rear muffler. Place the rear muffler in position and press the brackets into the rubber hangers, this step is a lot easier to do with a second person assisting.
