Introduction
A grit guard washboard is essentially an angled grit guard that allows for better cleaning of your wash mitt during car washing. Instead of purchasing a grit guard washboard, we’ve come up with an alternative!
By using two normal and low cost grit guards you can actually create your own washboard.

Tools/Parts Required
- x2 Grit Guards
- Cable ties
- x2 Grit Guards
- Cable ties
Step 1
Start by placing a second, smaller grit guard on top and securing it with cable ties.
Step 2
Secure it with four cable ties, and test fitment in a bucket.
Step 3
Once installed in the bucket the washboard is very stable and will not come loose. A cheap and easy solution!
