In this guide we’ll show you how to remove the OEM air intake pipe and turbo inlet.
This guide is suitable for MK7 Golf R, GTI, Audi A3, S3 and other models with the 2.0L EA888 engine.

Step 1
Remove the air intake pipe. There are two pipe clamps located at either end, depending on your model it may be a spring-based clamp or screw clamp.
Step 2
Disconnect the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Hose from the turbo inlet elbow. This is done by squeezing the sides and lifting upwards. You can now spin the connector away.
Step 3
Loosen this screw to remove the turbo inlet. The screw does not need to be entirely removed.
Step 4
The turbo inlet can now be removed. Turn clockwise approximately 1/4 turn and it will loosen from the turbo.
Step 5
Pull the turbo inlet away and remove from the vehicle.
