Genuine VW 2.0T FSI High Pressure Fuel Pump Cam Follower Kit

Riding between the lobe on your intake cam and the piston of your high pressure fuel pump, this cam follower is subject to much stress and wear, especially on older models that came without any kind of anti-friction coating.  It is not uncommon for the ‘hat’ of the follower to wear through completely, requiring the replacement of the intake camshaft and possibly the high pressure fuel pump as these parts then slide together in ways never intended.  Because of these failures, we recommend checking and if necessary, replacing these followers during every service for modified vehicles.
