The JB4 contains several performance maps which can be selected “on the fly” right from the drivers seat and a 100% stock bypass map, a valet mode, ethanol fuel (E85) support, progressive water/methanol injection support, racing fuel map, an auto tuning map that adjusts the JB4 mapping to your current climate, octane, vehicle condition, and modifications continuously, and for those interested an rpm by rpm user adjustable map. Other features include optional in dash gauges for boost and other engine parameters, a programmable shift light, on the fly adjustable torque limiting to aid with launches at the track, an optional 2STEP rev limiter & no lift shifting for manual transmission cars, an optional speed delimiter, and much more.
Remember the JB4 does not require any additional modifications or previous stages. Simply install the JB4 as your first and only modification and enjoy an entirely new fast and smooth racing experience. As you decide to modify your car further the JB4 is setup to grow with your vehicle. Whether you’re racing a 100% OEM car on pump gas or a 700whp single turbo drag queen, the JB4 has the perfect mix of performance, features, flexibility, and support to ensure your car performs to the best of its potential!
Optional: Genuine Burger Motorsports Data Cable
This proprietary Data cable connects the JB control box to your laptop for use with Burger Motorsports datalogging, tuning, and map loading software. Cable may be left in engine bay and routed in the window or door when needed for a simple install. Alternatively it may also be routed behind the ECU in to the glove box for a clean install and on the fly access.
Please do not attempt to use a standard RS232/USB cable with the JB as it will not work and may damage the processor. All JB software is posted on n54tech.com.

The JB4 for my e93 BMW 335i is brilliant. Fitment was relatively easy although the instructions from Burger Motorsport are a little ambiguous and vague in parts, having a motor mechanic background I was able to nut through it without any issues. This may be a little more challenging for those without previous mechanical or mod box fitting experience. As far as performance improvement, the JB4 is outstanding. I’m using map3 without any other modifications to the car and the increased turbo boost rolls in smoothy and has really lifted on road performance, really fun to drive. Driving around town in stop start traffic it feels like a standard car, let your mum drive it and she’d never notice the difference but get on the open road and wow you sure feel the extra grunt then. Not one ‘check engine light’ or fault code or any reliability issues so far. I went for the Blue Tooth connectivity and the app on Android is great. Lot’s of adjustable settings and cool gauge combinations to play with. . My BMW now feels like a poor man’s M3. Autoinstruct were great to deal with, good communication, fast shipping, no hassles. In summary, very happy all round.
