AutoInstruct presents a tutorial on how to remove the rear seat base on a VE Commodore.
Difficulty Rating
Easy
Tools/Parts Required
None!
Step 1
Removing the seat base is a very simple task. There are two clips holding the seat in place, one between the legs of each outer passenger.
Step 2
Grasp the front of the seat base and pull firmly upwards to release the clip. Once this is completed on both sides of the vehicle the seat will simply pull out away from the backrest.

Hi, do you have anything on removing the front driver side seat and how to disconnect all the sensors and stuff that go with it. My car is a VE Commodore Berlina 2007
Hi Josh, We don’t have front seat removal guides. However I can tell you that once the rear bolts are removed, the seat will hinge forward and release from the vehicle.

Hi
Just wondering in the middle of the seat base
Are there clips also to hold that bit down?
Thanks
No clips in the middle, just one on each side between the passengers legs.
Hi there I’m trying to remove my parcel tray (without destroying it lol) do I need to remove the seats first?
I believe you need to remove the seat backs. If not look for the clips from inside the boot.
Cheers AutoInstruct, can you share the process for removing the seat backs please?
Hi David, We don’t have this unfortunately, and no longer own our VE Commodore.
Ah, thanks anyway. Your guides for the VE/VF have been really helpful =)
Awesome, thanks!
How do i find fuel filter in my 2007 ve
Omega
Hi Terry, If there is no access hole under the back seat, you need to drop the fuel tank as the filter is located within it, attached to the pump.
